Classical Studies Crash Course

The Classical Studies Crash Course is designed for students who wish to receive a general introduction to Classics and those who wish to sit for the MATSEC board Classical Studies Intermediate Exam in September 2026 (precise date yet to be announced). Each session runs online from 5:30pm for about an hour and a half till about 7pm. Students are to note the precise date of the listed sessions, as lessons are not held on every Wednesday. If the lecturer is unavailable to teach on any of the listed dates due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date will be chosen on one of the other remaining Wednesdays or an alternative date. All sessions will be recorded. The course fee for the entire course is €250 for the general public and €200 for life members of the Malta Classics Association and those registered for 2025 and 2026.

Students wishing to register for specific modules only may apply at the following rates: €60 for modules B and D, or €80 for modules A or E, €100 for module C. Bundle discounts for registrations for multiple modules will be offered on request.

Deadline for registration is Wednesday 12th November. Registration is complete upon payment of the corresponding fee. Students of the 2025/2026 may be joined in their session by students of the MCA Summer Crash Course during the July and August Sessions. Applicants may register as members at applicable annual fee to benefit from the discount. Payments can be made via bank transfer, Revolut, or BOV Mobile.
