As part of its mission to make Classics more accessible to the general public, the MCA is committed to producing a number of classics-themed publications. The MCA currently has two main regular publications: the Melita Classica Journal and the MCA Newsletter. Each issue of the yearly Melita Classica Journal, which is given for free to the MCA’s registered members and is available for sale to the general public, contains a number of peer-reviewed academic articles and scholarly book reviews by Classicists from all over Europe. Whereas the journal is therefore aimed primarily at University students, lecturers, graduates and more serious scholarship in general, the quarterly MCA Newsletter has as its targeted audience younger students and those persons with a more causal interest in the classics. This digital newsletter includes short articles, book reviews, competitions, and interviews with current students and educators alike. Alongside its two regular publications, the MCA has also published a number of classics-related books and looks forward to other such publications in the future.
